I use this regularly in my own stitch patterns, but I don’t see a reason to use it here (as it’s not being used as a mirror image, and it’s more complicated than necessary). But if you want to use it, here’s what to do instead of slip 1–knit 2 tog—psso: ssk, slip resulting stitch back to left needle, pass next stitch over, and slip back to right needle.
Also, I’ve written up a modified version of this stitch pattern that I think works a bit better.
