Tile Stitch

This is from "Mon Tricot's 1,300 Pattern Stitches", 1979, which, according to the foreword, is 'Indispensable to any woman who wants to learn how to knit'. Despite being a man, I too find it indispensable.

I have tweeked the instructions for row 15, and I've also modified the edge stitches to make the sides symmetrical.

Shown with a cast-on count of 33 stitches.
