Westknits Woven Stitch

This Stitch is used in the Westknits shawls Exploration Station or Sparkle & Pop.

The preparation first preparation row (WS): (K1, p1) ending with K1.

The second preparation row (RS): K1, (sl wyib, K1)

The third row (WS): K1, (p1, K1) is the first pattern repeat row.

Mnemonic aid: Always on the right side you slip the knit stitch and knit the purled stitch. On the wrong side you knit the sliped stitch and purl the purled stitch.
