- Row 1 (RS): Sl1 wyif, k2, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, k2, [yo, k2tog] twice, k1 (14 sts).
- Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14: K2, purl to last 3 sts, yo, k2tog, k1.
- Row 3: Sl1 wyif, k2, yo, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, ssk, yo, k2 (15 sts).
- Row 5: Sl1 wyif, k2, yo, ssk, [k3, yo] twice, ssk, yo, k2 (17 sts).
