- Rows 2, 4, and 6: P1, *p2, p2, p2, p3, repeat from * to last 3 sts, p2, p1.
- Rows 3 and 5: K1, *k2, k3, k2, k2, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k2, k1.
- Row 7: K1, *k2, k1, drop st, k1, k2, k1, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k2, k1.
- Rows 8, 10, and 12: P1, *p2, p3, p2, p2, repeat from * to last 3 sts, p2, p1.
