Thumb gusset increase shape for planning cables
This is for the thumb gusset on gloves I am making, I am trying to incorporate a cable pattern into the increase section. I am making a stitch map for one half of the gusset, which should be increasing from 6 stitches up to 14, at a rate of 1 st increased per 4 rounds. This is a plan of the basic shape with increases, which I'm printing out to sketch the cables onto.
Shown with a cast-on count of 6 stitches.
- Round 1: P2, k1 tbl, M1L, k1 tbl, p2 (7 sts).
- Rounds 2-4: P2, k3 tbl, p2.
- Round 5: P2, k1 tbl, kfb, k1 tbl, p2 (8 sts).
- Rounds 6-8: P2, k4 tbl, p2.
- Round 9: P2, k2 tbl, M1Lp, k2 tbl, p2 (9 sts).
- Rounds 10-12: P2, k2 tbl, p1, k2 tbl, p2.
- Round 13: P2, k2 tbl, pfb, k2 tbl, p2 (10 sts).
- Rounds 14-16: P2, k2 tbl, p2, k2 tbl, p2.
- Round 17: P2, k2 tbl, p1, M1Lp, p1, k2 tbl, p2 (11 sts).
- Rounds 18-20: P2, k2 tbl, p3, k2 tbl, p2.
- Round 21: P2, k2 tbl, p1, pfb, p1, k2 tbl, p2 (12 sts).
- Rounds 22-24: P2, k2 tbl, p4, k2 tbl, p2.
