The Bernat Hat Book, Style No. 2166 - 101
Based on the vintage pattern, rewritten to be worked in rounds by mklawrie. Row 3 is a hem line. Can I hem the edge as i knit row 6? The original vintage pattern was striped. 1-3 in MC, [then 4-5 MC, 6-7 CC.] Starting row 34, mc only. "Repeat Rows 4 through 7 until 8 MC stripes have been completed" That is (repeat row 4-7) 6 times. then repeat row 4-5.
Round 34 starts shaping the top. GAUGE: 4 sts = 1 inch 4 rows = 1 inch
