Sway; COPY of Gannet's stitch I slightly modified

Gannet's chart for encoding the word "Sway" looks like vertical waves to me (vertical as in, as if the waves are lapping on the sides of the piece, rather than the ends, if that makes sense). Anyway, I wanted to test whether adding a vertical offset would make it look more natural, more like waves washing against a shoreline. The only thing I did was scoot one repeat upwards to "offset" the waves to hopefully make them look more natural. …

Anyway, I wanted to test whether adding a vertical offset would make it look more natural, more like waves washing against a shoreline. The only thing I did was scoot one repeat upwards to "offset" the waves to hopefully make them look more natural. The stitch map looks good, I think, so hopefully, it will make a nice swatch. All I have to do is remember to knit it up AND remember to take a snapshot... =;-)
