Stream Bed Lace

This is a nice undulating lace pattern formed by short stacks of centered double decreases and yarn overs. The alignment of the each short stack is alternated when the pattern repeats which creates the sinuous effect. The basic repeat is 10+1 when knitted flat. It reminds me of a nearby woodland stream with it's rounded boulders and occasional rapids. It is very similar to the Bottle Lace pattern stitch, but does not include the smocking stitches of that lace.
