Slip Stitch Cable

I've borrowed Silke's pattern (here) and charted it for knitting flat.

The cables are easily done without a cable needle. For the left cross, drop the first stitch (it won't unravel), knit 2, then pick up the dropped stitch with the left needle and knit it. For the right cross, knit into the third stitch on the left needle, then knit the first two stitches and drop the third stitch off the left needle.
