Simple Saxon Braid (Knives Out Panel A)

A simple (but intricate-looking) version of the "Saxon Braid", as used in the famous cabled sweater from "Knives Out".

See also Cathryn Shaffer's Handsome Chris Pullover pattern. To my knowledge, Cathryn was the first to compile a complete reverse-engineered set of panels for the sweater, and made a complete pattern out of it in various sizes.

This is just a version for me and everyone else who has become used to work from stitch-map charts. It corresponds to the "Movie Panel A" chart from Carthryns pattern.
