Saroyan seed stitch 02, increase section
work in progress… The seed stitch next to the spine shifts on each repeat. On the WS I always check the sequence a few stitches in away from the spine and then count back to see whether the first stitch will be k or p.
Shown with a cast-on count of 12 stitches.
- Row 15 (RS): [K1, p1] twice, kfb, k1, p2, k1, yo, PBk, yo, k2 (15 sts).
- Row 16: P6, kfb, k1, p1, [p1, k1] 3 times (16 sts).
- Row 17: [K1, p1] 3 times, k1, p3, k2, yo, PBk, yo, k3 (18 sts).
- Row 18: P8, kfb, k2, p1, [p1, k1] 3 times (19 sts).
- Row 19: [K1, p1] twice, k1, kfb, k1, p4, k3, yo, PBk, yo, k4 (22 sts).
- Row 20: P10, kfb, k3, [p1, k1] 4 times (23 sts).
