Purl ridges 3 x 3
This pattern is like garter stitch but bigger; it has three rows of knit or purl for every row of knit or purl in garter stitch. It creates ridges (purl rows) and furrows (jersey rows).
Shown with a cast-on count of 2 stitches.
- Rows 1 and 3 (RS): Knit.
- Row 2: Purl.
- Rows 4 and 6: Knit.
- Row 5: Purl.
