Play Crown - Kid
Worked in the round, top down using three strands (Navajo/chain plied as I knit) of sock yarn or one strand of bulky yarn. Aim for a gauge of 4spi.
I use the knitted cast on and Icelandic bind off but anything stretchy should work.
Shown with a cast-on count of 128 stitches.
- Round 1: *P1, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, k1.
- Round 2: [IncL, p1, [k1, p1] twice, ssk, k1, k2tog, [p1, k1] twice, p1, incR, sl1 wyib] 8 times.
- Round 3: [[K1, p1] 3 times, sl2-k1-p2sso, [p1, k1] 3 times, k1 tbl] 8 times (112 sts).
- Round 4: [IncR, [k1, p1] twice, ssk, k1, k2tog, [p1, k1] twice, incL, k1] 8 times.
- Round 5: [K1, [k1, p1] twice, sl2-k1-p2sso, [p1, k1] twice, k2] 8 times (96 sts).
- Round 6: [K1, incR, k1, p1, ssk, k1, k2tog, p1, k1, incL, k2] 8 times.
- Round 7: [K3, p1, sl2-k1-p2sso, p1, k3, k1 PB] 8 times (80 sts).
- Round 8: [K2, incR, ssk, k1, k2tog, incL, k3] 8 times.
- Round 9: [K3, sl2-k1-p2sso, k4] 8 times (64 sts).
- Rounds 10-13: Purl.
