Oblique Lace
From Betsy Beads by Betsy Hershberg. Betsy’s original pattern features beads; this version is, as yet, sans beads. Contrast with Left Slant Mesh: both slant left, but Left Slant Mesh uses ssk for smooth decrease lines while Oblique Lace uses k2tog for a more knotted appearance.

- Row 1 (RS): K2, *yo, k2tog, repeat from * to last st, k1.
- Rows 2 and 4: Purl.
- Row 3: K3, *yo, k2tog, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2.
