Mesh shawl setup
CO 5 sts and purl 2 rows to set up work. If preferred, simply purl all WS rows, and purl last 2 sts of each row. After Row 18, repeat pattern established in Rows 15-18, adding 1 more [yo, ssk] and [k2tog, yo] and working central sts in the same way. Markers before and after the central 3 sts are helpful. At end of work, add a garter or seed stitch border and bind off loosely.
