Mermaid tail blanket (flukes)
Adjust repeat of row 1 to suit gauge. Gauge as written is for 10 rows, 10 st in 10x10cm. Work rows 1-13 then separately work 1-13 again. Work row 14, then with ws of work facing on working piece, and rs of work facing on second piece, combine both pieces on 1 circular needle with all 60 stitches. Continue working in rows.

- Rows 2, 6, 10, 18, 22, 24, and 26: P1, *k1, p1, repeat from *.

- Rows 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20: *K1, p1, repeat from * to last st, k1.
- Rows 5, 9, and 13: K2tog, *p1, k1, repeat from * to last st, (k1, p1) in next st.
- Row 14: CO 30 sts, p1, *k1, p1, repeat from * (59 sts).
- Rows 15 and 19: K2tog, [k1, p1] 13 times, (k1, p1) in next st, k1, (p1, k1) in next st, [p1, k1] 13 times, k2tog.
