- Rows 1, 3, 33, and 35 (RS): [Yo, k2tog] 10 times.
- Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, and 36: Knit.
- Rows 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 21, and 23: [Yo, k2tog] twice, k2, [yo, k2tog] 4 times, k2, [yo, k2tog] twice.
- Rows 17 and 19: [Yo, k2tog] twice, k12, [yo, k2tog] twice.
- Rows 25 and 27: [Yo, k2tog] 3 times, k2, [yo, k2tog] twice, k2, [yo, k2tog] 3 times.
