Kællingesjal 1897 Top border

Made to reflect top border (chart C) pattern of Kællingesjal.

This chart is updated for the errata that MttR described in the English pattern, making it come out correctly after row 8.

In this chart the double yarn over is written in. As costumatty on ravelry described in their project, the double yarn overs should be worked as one on the way back meaning dropping one of the yarnovers and just knitting the other one of them, so don’t knit the two yarn overs together on next row back.

  • Row 1 (RS): Sl1 wyib, k1, [yo, k2tog] twice, yo wrapping yarn twice, k2 (9 sts).
  • Rows 2, 4, and 6: Sl1 wyib, knit.
  • Row 3: Sl1 wyib, k2, [yo, k2tog] twice, yo, k2 (10 sts).
  • Row 5: Sl1 wyib, k3, [yo, k2tog] twice, yo wrapping yarn twice, k2 (11 sts).
  • Row 7: Sl1 wyib, k4, [yo, k2tog] twice, yo, k2 (12 sts).
  • Row 8: BO 4 sts, knit (8 sts).
