This stitch pattern was made from extracts from Kelpies lace, and should coordinate well with it. There will be several more variants over time; here are the others so far:
This pattern has six setup rows that are worked once; repeat the remaining 16 rows as desired, ending after row 14 or 22. If working this stitch pattern after version 2, omit rows 1-6 because the setup rows are not needed in that case.
The swatch photo doesn't include the setup rows; the bottom row of solid triangles is the tops of Kelpie lace hexagon 3. If it were the setup rows for hexagon 4, the triangles would each include a pair of yarnovers with a CDD between.
