Granite Broiche Stitch
This stitch is simple, easy, and a nice subtle texture. It's wonderful for hats, scarves, cowls, and other accessories. Its subtle texture would be perfect for a laid back sweater, or a simple shawl. I'll be adding more brioche stitches, so stay tuned!
Shown with a cast-on count of 6 stitches.
- Row 1 (WS): K1, *sl1 wyib, p1, repeat from * to last st, k1.
- Rows 2 and 6: Knit.
- Rows 3 and 7: Purl.
- Row 4: K1, *p1, dip st, repeat from * to last st, k1.
- Row 5: K1, *p1, sl1 wyib, repeat from * to last st, k1.
- Row 8: K1, *dip st, p1, repeat from * to last st, k1.
