Fan Pattern
From the Project Gutenberg version of Exercises in Knitting by Cornelia Mee.
The instructions gave just rows 1-7 with no indications of row repeats. For this map, I've opted to make it repeatable.
Shown with a cast-on count of 18 stitches.
- Rows 1 and 7 (RS): *K2, [yo, k1] 5 times, yo, k2, repeat from * (multiple of 15 sts).
- Row 2: *P2, k11, p2, repeat from *.
- Row 3: *K2tog, k11, k2tog, repeat from * (multiple of 13 sts).
- Row 4: *P2tog, p9, p2tog, repeat from * (multiple of 11 sts).
- Row 5: *K2tog, k7, k2tog, repeat from * (multiple of 9 sts).
- Row 6: Purl.
- Repeat rows 1-6.
