Center Braid Cable-Knit Stitch
This is a pattern I use for scarves. I also do 8 rows of garter stitch at the beginning and end to make it look complete, but this is the basic pattern repeat!
Shown with a cast-on count of 18 stitches.

- Rows 1, 3, 5, and 7 (RS): K18.
- Rows 2, 4, 6, and 8: K6, p6, k6.
- Row 9: K6, 3/3 LC, k6.
- Repeat rows 2-9.
