Celtic Cable Scarf (Beginner)
BEGINNER version, simple k/p on edges to reduce the amount of cabling. It ends up 16 st thinner than the original pattern.

C#F/C#B, T#F/T#B notation changed to LC/RC,LPC/RPC notation. I'm pretty sure it's correct, but I could be wrong!
Begin by co 36 sts. Repeat rows 1-16 until desired length is reached. Finish by binding off.
Shown with a cast-on count of 36 stitches.
- Rows 1 and 3 (WS): P4, k4, p4, [k4, p4] twice, k4, p4.
- Row 2: K4, p4, 2/2 RC, [p4, 2/2 RC] twice, p4, k4.
- Row 4: K4, p3, 2/1 RPC, [2/2 LPC, 2/2 RPC] twice, 2/1 LPC, p3, k4.
- Rows 5 and 15: P4, k3, p2, k3, p4, k4, p4, k3, p2, k3, p4.
