Shown with a cast-on count of 23 stitches.
- Rows 1, 3, and 5 (RS): K1, k2tog, yo, k1, *yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 3 sts, yo, ssk, k1.
- Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12: Purl.
- Rows 7, 9, and 11: K4, *k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k2, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k3.
Cast-on count
- multiple of 8 stitches, plus 7
