The watercolour painting in the swatch photo is one of a series made by a Miss Rivers in, I think, 1942. In the late 1970s I knitted a cardigan based on the painting. Another in the series is featured in Gladys Thompson's book, "Patterns for Guernseys, Jerseys & Arans" (Aran Pattern XIII on page 162).
