Two simple pattern instructions:

k5 p1 k1 p1
Every two rows the 5-sts-block moves one stitch to the right.
Easily adoptable to create many other patterns based on this simple pattern. Very interesting effects...

Wenn du das Muster in Reihen stricken willst, musst du immer nur in den Hinreihen das Muster anlegen und strickst in der Rückreihe die Maschen wie sie erscheinen.

- Rounds 1-2: *K1, p1, k1, p5, repeat from *.
- Rounds 3-4: K1, p1, *k5, p1, k1, p1, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k5, p1.
- Rounds 5-6: K1, *p5, k1, p1, k1, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p5, k1, p1.
- Rounds 7-8: *K5, p1, k1, p1, repeat from *.
- Rounds 9-10: P4, *k1, p1, k1, p5, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k1, p1, k1, p1.
- Rounds 11-12: K3, *p1, k1, p1, k5, repeat from * to last 5 sts, p1, k1, p1, k2.
- Rounds 13-14: P2, *k1, p1, k1, p5, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k1, p1, k1, p3.
- Rounds 15-16: K1, *p1, k1, p1, k5, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p1, k1, p1, k4.
