Cathedral Window (with beg and end)
This is a chart I found on Pinterest. The source is in another language which I don't understand so I don't know the name of the pattern and I am unable to give credit. So I call it Cathedral Wndow because that is what it reminds me of. This is my first go with Stitch maps and I haven't swatched yet. Finally got the horizontal repeat to work with a split repeat on right and left side of center repeats. (still have a little hair left) :-0
Shown with a cast-on count of 25 stitches.
- Rows 1 and 11 (RS): K2, k2tog, yo, *k1, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k2, yo, ssk, k1.
- Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26: Purl.
- Rows 3, 7, 13, and 17: K1, k2tog, yo, k1, *k2, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k2, yo, ssk, k1.
- Rows 5 and 15: [K2tog, yo] twice, *k1, yo, ssk, yo, sl2-k1-p2sso, yo, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k1, [yo, ssk] twice.
- Rows 9 and 19: K2tog, yo, k2, *k3, yo, sl2-k1-p2sso, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k3, yo, ssk.
- Rows 21, 23, and 25: K1, yo, k1, ssk, *k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, ssk, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k1.
Cast-on count
- multiple of 8 stitches, plus 9
