Large eyelet garter mesh
(p1,k1) in the double YOs on the following row.
As with all garter stitch patterns this can be knitted with all knit stitches. But I like working two together in purl.
Shown with a cast-on count of 15 stitches.
- Row 1 (RS): P1, *p2tog, yo, yo, p2tog, p2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p2.
- Rows 2, 4, 6, and 8: Purl.
- Rows 3 and 7: Purl.
- Row 5: P2, *p2, p2tog, yo, yo, p2tog, repeat from * to last st, p1.
Cast-on count
- multiple of 6 stitches, plus 3
