An overview of my modifications - of - modifications of the lovely "Saroyan" leaf-edged shawl/scarf pattern by L Abinante, free on Ravelry. Thanks again to Ravelry users Sushikette and Rothyx whose detailed mods are the basis of my own tweaks. I changed the garter selvage = stockinette body to all seed stitch, to prevent rolling and because I think it's prettier, and moved the body side increases to the right 1 st to create one unbroken spine of k1 all the way along the length of the scarf to have a more defined transition to the leaf border. I'm pasting them all together here to see if they fit. It seems like I need to re-number everything? I will try this "Renumber and reformat" button and see if it works. (No, it didn't. It just deleted the first two sections. Maybe I'll use the tool to renumber each individual section on their pages and paste here again? Yes, that worked!)
