Large eyelet mesh

Loosely based on Amaryllis in"Traditional Lace Knitting" by Furze Hewitt.

I didn't persevere with the swatch, as I was thinking it would look better based on stocking stitch rather than garter stitch.

  • Rows 1 and 5 (RS): Knit.
  • Row 2: K1, *k3tog, k3, k3tog, k3, k3tog, k3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2 (multiple of 12 sts, plus 3).
  • Row 3: K2, *k3, yo, yo, k4, yo, yo, k4, yo, yo, k1, repeat from * to last st, k1 (multiple of 18 sts, plus 3).
  • Rows 4 and 8: Knit.
  • Row 6: K1, *k3, k3tog, k3, k3tog, k3, k3tog, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2 (multiple of 12 sts, plus 3).
  • Row 7: K2, *yo, yo, k4, yo, yo, k4, yo, yo, k4, repeat from * to last st, k1 (multiple of 18 sts, plus 3).
