- Round 1: *1/1 LC, k4, repeat from *, CO 1 st (multiple of 6 sts, plus 1).
- Rounds 2, 4, 6, and 8: Drop st, *1/1 LC, k1, p2, k1, repeat from *, CO 1 st.
- Rounds 3, 5, and 7: Drop st, *1/1 LC, k4, repeat from *, CO 1 st.
- Round 9: Drop st, *1/1 LC, k4, repeat from * (multiple of 6 sts).
- Rounds 10-11 and 13: *K2, p2, k8, repeat from *.
