This version adds a whole repeat to either side of the corner (2 total) every other pattern row. As you can see, it increases very fast. It would be super ruffly. You could also flip it so the k2togs were at the outside of the repeat, so row 14 would be k2tog 3 times, (k1 yo) 6 times, k2tog 3 times, (k1 yo) 12 times (center) k2tog 3 times (k1 yo) 6 times, k2tog 3 times. It doesn't change how huge the corner gets. That version is here and two less ruffly versions: corner 1 (my favorite) and corner 1.5.
