Old shale corner experiment 1.5

Basically, every three lace rows you are adding enough extra stitches from the center yos that you can split off a half repeat on each side of the corner. There are two versions of this, Corner 1 is the other one and my favorite. There are also two very ruffly ones: corner 2 and corner 2.5.

  • Row 1 (WS): K6.
  • Row 2: [Yo, k1] 6 times (12 sts).
  • Rows 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, and 31: Knit.
  • Rows 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, and 32: Knit.
  • Rows 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, and 33: Purl.
  • Row 6: [Yo, k1] 12 times (24 sts).
  • Row 10: [Yo, k1] 3 times, [k2tog] 3 times, [yo, k1] 6 times, [k2tog] 3 times, [yo, k1] 3 times (30 sts).
