Harlequin Diamonds
This is derived from pattern 41 - Double Circle Edging - in Barbara Abbey's book 'Knitting Lace'. With a yarn coarser than lace weight, and in stocking stitch rather than garter, the most prominent motif is a diamond, hence my choice of name.

- Row 1 (RS): P2, k2, k2tog, *yo, k3, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, repeat from * to last 4 sts, yo, k2, p2.
- Rows 2, 4, 8, and 10: K2, purl to last 2 sts, k2.
- Row 3: P2, k1, k2tog, *yo, k1, bunny ears back dec, k1, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, repeat from * to last 5 sts, yo, k3, p2 (multiple of 9 sts, plus 10).
- Row 5: P2, k2tog, yo, *k1, k2tog, yo, yo, yo, ssk, k1, yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, p2 (multiple of 10 sts, plus 10).
- Row 6: K2, p4, *p5, p3 tbl, p2, repeat from * to last 4 sts, p2, k2.
- Row 7: P2, k2, yo, *ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, repeat from * to last 6 sts, ssk, k2, p2.
