Trifles 3
Here ssk and k2tog sts are reversed from Trifles 1 and 2. On Rows 7 and 11 I tried Dorothy Reade's suggestion for the sts directly above the yo sts on Rows 5 and 9 (knitting them tbl). This probably makes less difference here than it would in designs where the outline of a motif would be emphasized in the way she intended.

- Rows 1 and 9 (RS): K1, *k2, yo, ssk, p1, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2.
- Rows 2 and 10: P2, *[p1, k1] 3 times, p2, repeat from * to last st, p1.
- Row 3: K1, *k1, ssk, kfb, p1, kfb, k2tog, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2.
- Rows 4, 8, and 12: P2, *p3, k1, p4, repeat from * to last st, p1.
- Row 5: K1, *k2, ssk, yo, p1, yo, k2tog, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2.
- Row 6: P2, *p2, k3, p3, repeat from * to last st, p1.
- Rows 7 and 11: K1, *k4, p1, k3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2.

- multiple of 8 stitches, plus 3
