Slipstitch colorwork
A pattern that utilizes slipped stitches, a 12-row repeat, and five colors. It creates an undulating pattern. Change colors every two rows.
Shown with a cast-on count of 27 stitches.
- Rows 1, 3, 7, and 9 (RS): Knit.
- Rows 2, 4, 8, and 10: Purl.
- Row 5: *K7, sl3 wyib, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k7.
- Row 6: *P7, sl3 wyif, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p7.
- Row 11: K2, *sl3 wyib, k7, repeat from * to last 5 sts, sl3 wyib, k2.
- Row 12: P2, *sl3 wyif, p7, repeat from * to last 5 sts, sl3 wyif, p2.
Cast-on count
- multiple of 10 stitches, plus 7
