Shetland Isles Shawl Centre
My favorite zig-zag lace pattern. From antiquepatternlibrary.org It's more than 200 years old, I think. I did need to correct the written directions for rows 9 and 11 because they left a row out (the one repeating row 5).

- Row 1 (RS): *K1, [yo, ssk] 3 times, k3, repeat from *.
- Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12: K1, purl to last st, k1.
- Rows 3 and 11: *K2, [yo, ssk] 3 times, k2, repeat from *.
- Rows 5 and 9: *K3, [yo, ssk] 3 times, k1, repeat from *.
- Row 7: *K4, [yo, ssk] 3 times, repeat from *.
