Shawl shape
A basic shawl shape which can be knitted to any size, and to which can be added patterns, borders and edgings as desired.
Shown with a cast-on count of 3 stitches.

- Row 1 (WS): K1, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, k1 (5 sts).
- Row 2: K2tog, knit (4 sts).
- Row 3: K1, (k1, yo, k1) in next st, knit (2 more sts).
- Row 4: K2tog, knit (1 less st).
- Repeat rows 3-4.

- 3 stitches
