Mosaik: slip3 variation

3 stitches in the middle would usually follow these instructions:
row 5: k3
row 6: k3
row 7: sl3
row 8: sl3

Instead of leaving a strand of 3 stitches, I am working an additional stitch with the strand. Starting in row 5. In row 13 this stitch was decreased again. The stitch only shows on the wrong side of the knitting.

  • Row 1 (RS): K17.
  • Row 2: K17.
  • Row 3: Sl1 wyib, [k1, sl1 wyib] 3 times, k3, sl1 wyib, [k1, sl1 wyib] 3 times.
  • Row 4: Sl1 wyib, [k1, sl1 wyib] 3 times, k3, sl1 wyib, [k1, sl1 wyib] 3 times.
  • Row 5: K7, sl2 wyib, yo, sl1 wyib, k7 (18 sts).
  • Rows 6 and 10: K7, sl1 wyif, k1, sl2 wyif, k7.
  • Rows 7 and 11: Sl1 wyib, [k1, sl1 wyib] 3 times, k2, sl1 wyif, k1, sl1 wyib, [k1, sl1 wyib] 3 times.
  • Rows 8 and 12: Sl1 wyif, [k1, sl1 wyif] 3 times, k1, sl1 wyib, k2, sl1 wyif, [k1, sl1 wyif] 3 times.
