leaf wedge (test/doodle)

A doodle for a multi-leaf-start for a shawl using Diagonal leaves.

This looks like an unvention. I was trying to get something similar to jcbriar's Split leaf wedge chart, except using an embossed leaf pattern with only one purl column between the leaves. I'm not at all sure how the p3tog followed by p-yo-p on the next RS row will work in context, though: that will be something to look at in a swatch.

  • Row 1 (RS): P1, *yo, k1, yo, p1, repeat from * (multiple of 4 sts, plus 1).
  • Row 2: K1, *p3, k1, repeat from *.
  • Row 3: P1, *k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, p1, repeat from * (multiple of 6 sts, plus 1).
  • Row 4: K1, *p5, k1, repeat from *.
  • Row 5: P1, *k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, p1, repeat from * (multiple of 8 sts, plus 1).
