Lacy dragon scales (really tiny scale)
Unvented. Inspired by (and massively scaled down from) Barbara Walker's dragon skin pattern. However, this is also basically Star Rib Mesh done with sl1-k2tog-psso instead of sl2-k1-p2sso.
Shown with a cast-on count of 13 stitches.
- Row 1 (RS): K1, yo, *sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, k1, yo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, k1.
- Rows 2 and 4: Purl.
- Row 3: K2tog, yo, *k1, yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k1, yo, ssk.
- Repeat rows 1-4.
Cast-on count
- multiple of 4 stitches, plus 5
