Japanese Feather

Japanese Feather is used in the intarsia panels of the Hayle Cowl, published in the Winter 2014 issue of Creative Knitting. Notice how the stitch map version of the pattern shows the side-to-side ripples and stockinette stitch dimples seen on the actual fabric. The standard chart grid can't compete!
