This is a slightly rewritten version of the basic pattern used for

I started with this pattern and modified the last rows for finishing after the last heart: stitch map
Then modified the first rows for starting with a full heart: stitch map

  • Row 1 (RS): K1, *yo, k2tog, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, ssk, yo, k1, repeat from * (multiple of 14 sts, plus 1).
  • Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10: Purl.
  • Row 3: K1, *k1, yo, k4tog, yo, k3, yo, k4tog, yo, k2, repeat from * (multiple of 12 sts, plus 1).
  • Row 5: K1, *k1, k2tog, yo, k5, yo, ssk, k2, repeat from *.
  • Row 7: K1, *k2tog, yo, k7, yo, ssk, k1, repeat from *.
  • Row 9: K2tog, yo, k4, *k5, yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, k4, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k5, yo, ssk.
  • Repeat rows 1-10.
