elfn's icord

trying to parse elfn's description at https://www.ravelry.com/discuss/stitch-maps/3654158/1-25#7 - we'll see how close this is. The purled stitch in the 1/1 LPC in the first row isn't actually purled: it's slipped wyif.

...there is such a thing as a Row 0. I must try this.

(This stitch map has not been tested: please see jcbriar's elfn's icord, take 2 for a map that distributes the worked stitches and slipped stitches more regularly.)

Shown with a cast-on count of 10 stitches.   Getting chart...

  • Row 0 (RS): K8, 1/1 LPC.
  • Row 1: Sl1 wyif, k1, sl1 wyif, w&t (3 sts).
  • Row 2: Sl1 wyib, p1, sl1 wyib.
  • Row 3: P1, sl1 wyib, purl (10 sts).
  • Row 4: Knit to last 2 sts, sl1 wyif, k1.
  • Repeat rows 1-4.
