  • Rows 1, 3, 9, and 11 (RS): Ssk, k2tog, [yo, k1] 3 times, yo, ssk, *sl2-k1-p2sso, k2tog, [yo, k1] 3 times, yo, ssk, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2tog.
  • Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40: Purl.
  • Rows 5, 7, 15, 29, 31, 37, and 39: Knit.
  • Row 13: BO 6 sts, knit (6 fewer sts).
  • Row 17: K1, yo, ssk, *sl2-k1-p2sso, k2tog, [yo, k1] 3 times, yo, ssk, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2tog (multiple of 10 sts, plus 4).
  • Row 19: Ssk, *sl2-k1-p2sso, k2tog, [yo, k1] 3 times, yo, ssk, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2tog (multiple of 10 sts, plus 2).
  • Rows 21 and 23: Ssk, knit (1 less st).
