Shift scarf
A simple reversible scarf pattern. Make it as long and as wide as you wish. I'd probably add a short fringe at each end.
Two stitches of garter at the right edge might look better than three:
Row 1 (RS): K2, kfb, k3, * p3, k3, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k2tog, k3. Row 2: K4, *p3, k3, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p5, k2.

- multiple of 6 stitches, plus 12
