Summer

I encoded the letters of the word Summer as numbers, then used those numbers to generate a chart with yarn overs. Then I figured out where to place the corresponding decreases to make this lace pattern. Here is my blog post that goes with the stitch pattern.

  • Row 3: K1, *yo, k1, sl1-k2tog-psso, [k2, yo] twice, k2, k3tog, k1, yo, repeat from * to last st, k1.
  • Row 5: K1, *k2, ssk, k3, [yo] twice, k3, k2tog, k2, repeat from * to last st, k1.
