24 segment circle, start

one way to start Timpeallan by Kalinumba, a doubleknit circle. Pattern may be used as is to knit a single layer circle. If knitting double, second layer and rearranging stitches after increases is implied. Lucy Neatby is a great source for how-to's on double knitting. Once you get to 24 stitches, the pattern repeats as knit 6 rows; increase 24 stitches evenly in next row, for as long as you like.
