arrowhead ribbing

Inspired by help with stitch pattern on Ravelry.

I don't think "arrowhead ribbing" is quite the right name for this: it's definitely a rib, but "arrowhead" seems to refer to a broad range, so there may be a better term.

  • It's similar to acorn/dewdrop, but with the decrease areas aligned instead of checkerboarded.
  • It's also similar to openwork rib, except with 3 purls between knit columns

The swatch has 1.5 stitch repeats, and 3.5 row repeats.

Shown with a cast-on count of 15 stitches.   Getting chart...

  • Rows 1 and 3 (WS): K3, *p3, k3, repeat from *.
  • Row 2: P3, *k3, p3, repeat from *.
  • Row 4: P3, *yo, sl1-k2tog-psso, yo, p3, repeat from *.
